• Of course our answer is yes, but here are some of our reasons! Without a ceramic coating, even with a wax or sealant, all it takes is one bird dropping on a hot Leander day and your paint can have permanent damage. Coatings have chemical resistance to things like bug guts and bird droppings, and they will protect your paint for YEARS!! Even the best waxes or sealants can only last months.

Ceramic coatings also have self-cleaning properties. To many, a heavy rain could leave your paint entirely cleaned. It will also take longer for the dirt to build-up! And on top of that coatings will make your paint shine more than any other form of paint protection that exists!

  • After the ceramic coating is applied to the paint, it is as if your vehicle has an extra layer of ultra durable, chemical-resistant, and hydrophobic skin. Ceramics are designed to protect the paint against the outside world — including bird droppings, bugs, rain, pollen, scratches from washing, and much more. While normal auto detailing services can clean and protect the paint for a few months, ceramic coatings form a sort of glass shield that can protect your investment until the day it’s traded/sold — which means more money in your pocket!

Washing and maintaining your car is inconvenient and tiresome… So after we spend $50,000 on the average vehicle, we slowly watch it degrade more and more over time because we just don’t want to keep up with it. We think it’s crazy to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a car, drive it unprotected, and trade it in for pennies years later.

After the paint has been completely cleaned, decontaminated, and we’ve created a smooth surface through paint correction, a thin layer of the liquid ceramic coating is applied to the paint, left to cure, then carefully buffed off until all that remains is a thin ceramic layer that is left for 24 hours in order to cure. It’s that simple.

  • If you want your paint to be as close to perfect as it will ever be, then absolutely. Even if your vehicle is fresh out of the factory, the paint could still have tons of defects. It’s often handled in the factory, the dealership, and transported long distances, all of which can leave issues in the paint.

Fixing these typically minor issues at the start of your vehicle’s life will be your best shot at having the best paint condition when it comes time to sell or trade it in. And getting a ceramic coating will help it stay that way.

  • The main reason to get a Paint Correction would be to make the car more visually appealing so that you, or a potential buyer, will be drawn to. Also, Ceramic Coatings will add gloss and protection to your vehicle, but to get the full longevity and gloss there usually needs to be a single or multiple steps of paint correction if it isn’t fresh out of the paint booth.

If it is a vehicle that you love and see imperfections that annoy the living crap out of you, then you should probably get a paint correction. If you just want the paint to pop a bit more because its oxidized, then a paint enhancement would be for you. If you want to get the highest resale value for a vehicle, then a light to medium paint correction would be great for you. We have seen vehicles sell for $4-6k more than they would have originally just from a light paint correction and 3-year ceramic coating!

Typically a scratch that you can’t feel with your nail can either be removed or greatly improved with a 2-step paint correction, and if you just want it to be less obvious than you can often times see improvement with just a 1-step paint correction. We will help you figure out a package that gets the results that YOU want.

  • Not everybody needs a paint correction. If all you want is a way to keep your car cleaner and easier to wash with a little bit of additional gloss, then you can choose to just apply a ceramic coating without any polishing. Although the coating will make a stronger bond to a smooth surface that has been corrected, a ceramic coating without paint correction can easily still give you years of simple maintenance and keep the paint in its current condition for longer.

Paint correction is the largest cost in any service we provide, and we are experts at achieving the results that you want. We can adjust the level of paint correction, but if you are happy with how your vehicle looks then contact us for The Gold package with just a ceramic coating!
